1. What does your job role involve?

– Primary contact of contact for the client
– Team Coordination
– Deescalating complaints
– Reporting
– Provide statistics

 

2. What made you choose a career in technology?

There are many options provided and you will never get bored because there is always innovation.

 

3. Did you study an IT or technology related subject at University?

No, unfortunately not. I have a degree in criminal justice and only had some courses related to IT.

 

4. Did you get any work experience in IT or technology before this role?

Yes, I worked as an online/mobile banking specialist as well as a de-escalation specialist for a Bank in the United States of America.

 

5. Do you think there is a lack of females in the IT and Tech sector?

I think that the number of females in the IT sector is increasing and hope it will grow more. I believe there are some social and psychological factors behind the reasoning.

 

6. What advice would you give to young women at the start of their Tech career?

Keep your curiosity up, there are always more solutions to find than originally though. You will always collect experience and constantly learn new things and have some vey serious impact and be very successful in the career.
